Bachelor
Bachelor in Low-Carbon Industry and Environmental Management
Programme overview
Study industrial processes, material and energy flows, emissions and environmental indicators. Build traceable inventories and compare practical improvement options. Advanced study integrates low-carbon strategy, lifecycle assessment, resource efficiency and environmental project management.
Environnement & Industrie Durable Paris — Paris College of Environment and Sustainable Industry. Duration: 3 years.
Bachelor study progresses from foundations and guided exercises to integrated applied projects.
Study pathways
Industrial decarbonisation; resource efficiency; environmental management. All pathways share a common core. Indicate your preferred pathway when applying; actual availability is confirmed before admission.
Learning outcomes
Develop industrial processes skills in material and energy flows, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Develop environmental inventories skills in emissions, resources and traceability, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Develop lifecycle foundations skills in boundaries, indicators and comparison, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Develop low-carbon options skills in technical feasibility and performance, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Develop environmental management skills in monitoring, responsibilities and action, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Develop applied project skills in industrial improvement plan, explaining methods, evidence and limitations.
Learning content and competency modules
| Module | Learning content | Assessment evidence |
| Industrial processes | Material and energy flows | Problem definition and reasoned analysis |
| Environmental inventories | Emissions, resources and traceability | Reproducible case or model documentation |
| Lifecycle foundations | Boundaries, indicators and comparison | Quality and traceability records |
| Low-carbon options | Technical feasibility and performance | Comparison of options and testing evidence |
| Environmental management | Monitoring, responsibilities and action | Project plan and collaboration records |
| Applied project | Industrial improvement plan | Integrated report and oral defence |
Study progression
Year 1: develop foundations, reading, analytical communication and guided cases.
Year 2: deepen specialist methods through pathway projects and evaluation of results.
Year 3: integrate methods in a final applied project, portfolio and oral defence.
Projects and practice
Prepare an industrial environmental inventory and compare improvement scenarios.
Document the problem, working process, personal contribution, validation evidence and limitations. Individual contributions are assessed within team projects. Placements and external projects depend on actual arrangements.
Teaching and assessment
Theory, computational laboratories, system simulations, data workshops and project reviews use public, synthetic or authorised information. The programme focuses on scientific and civilian applications.
Assignments, case or laboratory work, staged projects and the final defence assess accuracy, methods, evidence quality, practical reliability and communication. Assessment weightings, reassessment and extension rules are published before teaching begins. Moodle may support resources, assignments, quizzes and feedback; specialist practical activities are assessed separately.
Entry requirements
Provide evidence of secondary education or equivalent study. Applicants should demonstrate mathematics and science foundations appropriate to the programme. MSc applicants should explain relevant environmental, engineering, energy or data study.
Submit education evidence, transcripts, a CV, a motivation statement and any requested project materials. Teaching language, language evidence and document-translation requirements are published for the intake. Website language does not determine teaching language.
Completion and institutional diploma
Complete the required modules and assessments, final project and oral defence. The programme leads to an institutional Bachelor diploma in Low-Carbon Industry and Environmental Management.
Career development
Environmental project support; resource-efficiency analysis; industrial sustainability support. Employment depends on individual skills, experience and employer requirements. Regulated work requires the applicable qualifications and authorisations. Further study is assessed by the receiving institution.
Applications
